Toby Fournier

I think now this team's gonna lean a lot more heavily on that front court, and that's really the first time we've seen that happen, I think, under Kara Lawson.

Because Toby Fournier, like you said, is gonna shoulder a lot of the load.

She averaged about, uh, 18, 17 points per game last season, eight rebounds.

Uh, third team All-American, runner-up for ACC POI.

They, they're hard to play for anybody a- and we've seen them go toe-to-toe with the best of the best.

Uh, so, and obviously you've got Toby Fournier coming back.

I, I think she's due for a big season.

Um, that, that's gonna be a hard game, I think.

Couple people had highlights.

Uh, Toby Fournier dunking was a big one.

People were hyped by that.

People were hyped by your, um, AI replica of the, uh, video going around rapping with one of your coaches.

What do you hope, uh, potential players this year take away from the event? Um, be part of it, 'cause like you mentioned, you've had a lot of players that have come through, play in the W, play college basketball at the highest level.

I'm thinking Toby Fournier, those people, um, Agam Mckir.

Like, what, what do you hope maybe players and people that are coming out this week to, to check it out take away?

Well, for one, uh, it's who we're honoring this year.

So did see Charnowski a part of the judges there with some other members from the Duke women's basketball team.

Toby Fournier was one of them, so that was super cool to see all that unfold.

Also, shout out to that Duke women's basketball team led by Carol Lawson.

They had a very fun and exciting blue-white game themselves.

Couple players I just wanted to, to point out who, who stood out to me.

I, look, it's obvious- hey, Toby Fournier looks good.

Um, uh, this just in, our All-American l- [laughs] looked like an All-American.

Um, you know, very solid obviously around the basket.

Toby Fournier is a, a heck of a player, and it's worth noting that during the slam dunk contest, Toby Fournier had a dunk.

The women went crazy.

It's, you know, not an easy thing on-

You could see people were excited about it.

Media Day is coming for Kara Lawson.

She'll have Toby Fournier and Delaney Thomas alongside her for that event.

Wednesday, Duke basketball will head to ACC Media Days, and John Shire has elected for Patrick Gongba II and Dame Saar to join him.

As Connor O'Neill joked with me earlier in the week, I think we've tapped out of Caleb Foster.

The Swords.

And Toby Fournier and those players.

I think there's a player in North Carolina.

Her name is eluding me.
