Tobin Center for the Performing Arts

I've actually been to America twice since we talked last and Yeah, the competition was amazing.

I got to play, sing my own original song at the Tobin Center in San Antonio, Texas.

So that was just an amazing experience.

And then, yeah, I came back and got back into the swing of things in Busso, good sleepy old Busso.

But you have some strong feelings.

And I'm somebody who is enormously grateful that we created the Tobin Center for Performing Arts.

Yes, it cost $200 million or thereabouts.

I deeply regret the demise of the symphony.

And when I say, let's get into this, I mean, you want to dig into this? Like, because this is, I love this subject.

Think about, I love to zoom out to 50,000 feet if I can on an issue like this.

And like, how did we get here, right? In 2026 with the Tobin Center in San Antonio, Texas, United States, you know, Western capitalistic country, right? And you think about, first of all, so much of this music was built under a totally different system in the 19th century.

If you talk about Russia, you're talking about the 300 years of the Romanov dynasty and, you know, the czar and the whole thing.
