Titanium

Throughout the entire world, across the world for 2013, still one of the greatest songs from the 2010s, especially the top one when I think of EDM and funk.

So do you think there is a song like that or like Titanium, like with Dave again, back in 2011, that will unite the world or something like that?

Prodigy, when they released Fat of the Land with Firestarter and Breathe.

So you see those legacy artists, they always done something different that changed the whole scene and made a mark globally, I think.

Yeah, like I heard a lot of interviews of Geta saying that everybody was calling him crazy when he was about to release some songs like Titanium with Sia or other songs that he may mix it with pop singers or like with Akon and all these guys, they, as Scorsese was saying, they are always doing something different that...

It's almost a music revolution that unites all the globe.

The notoriously camera-shy singer-songwriter who's in the midst of a very bitter and expensive divorce just sold a 50% stake in her music catalog for a staggering $180 million.

$165 million of that deal covers the songs written before her 2022 marriage to estranged husband Dan Bernard, including Chandelier, Elastic Heart, and Titanium.

Dan waived any right to the payout if she agreed to give him one million.

The 15 million tied to music created during their 26-month marriage is now sitting in escrow while the exes battle how it will be divided.

Most of the proceeds will go directly to the singer, while $15 million, tied to songs written during her marriage, has been placed in escrow pending any future dispute with her ex-husband.

The sale includes rights to hits such as Chandelier, Titanium, and Cheap Thrills.

Senator Chuck Schumer says Cornell failed to act quickly enough after the alleged 2024 gang rape case, calling on the university and local authorities to fully investigate the matter.

He said the allegations are deeply disturbing and praised the woman for coming forward.

It's again an adaptability shift, isn't it? I remember we were speaking to Hannah Smichel on the podcast about helping musical theatre singers find a pop identity, just like you were talking about there.

And she was saying how one of her experiences was going into different gigs and having Titanium by Ciara and David Guetta, I think, on her list.

and she was like sometimes going into like your pizza express jazz evenings or whatever belting out titanium like we would hear in a club totally puts people off their margaritas yeah absolutely drizzle one over the other

which one though
