Tita Lau

On this episode, I'm joined by Matt Smallwood.

Matt is head of music at Club Class, the management company who managed the likes of Medusa, James Hype, Mr. Jam, Tita Lau and many more.

Matt is also a label head of the Cross Records and was previously head of A&R Toolroom Records for 13 years.

He is a legend and it was great to have him on the podcast.

So explain a little bit about your role.

So you're head of music at club class and then

also oversee the cross the label yeah so yes i'm head of music club class so obviously we look after this essentially it's a management company at heart which it was back in the day also based in maidstone which is weird which is where i was with tour i could probably see the office if i got close enough out the window um so yeah again another kind of independent kind of company that come up club class used to be like a club event in Maidstone and Serge the only used to own the river bar in Maidstone in the 90s and managed like Nick Fanciulli and stuff over the years and Chucky and has had you know tons of tons of success on the management side um And, yeah, sorry, so the roster is Medusa, James Hyatt, Tita Lau, Genesee, Louis Vuitton, Mr. Jam, and the legend that is Got Kwan, who's just the nicest human being I've ever met in my life, what a legend he is.

So it's a really strong roster.
