Tirunelveli

I think one of their ministers said that we are opting out of the rat race to the bottom.

They have made a strategic case that they have an industrial spine in Tamil Nadu, which stretches between Coimbatore, Madurai, Tiruchirappalli, and Tirunelveli.

So there, there is land, there is labor, there is power, and it has one of the best wind belts in India, which can deliver about 80% renewable power for these AI density racks that are used in data centers.

So the argument is that since Chennai already has 21% of India's data center capacity, the real opportunity for Tamil Nadu is in distributed southern capacity, not another Mumbai-style hyperscale concentrated campus.
