Lindell shared on social media and conservative media copies of a subpoena he said he was served by the FBI.

In an interview with CNN, Lindell said agents asked him questions about Tina Peters, the Mesa County, Colorado clerk, who's facing state charges connected to a scheme that allegedly allowed an unauthorized person to access voting machines.

Peters has pled not guilty.

I knew that the, the day was coming for Pillow Man here in the Tina Peters case because it was his cyber symposium that those data were, were put on public screens.

Remember when the kid, the, the hacker guy, as he was talking about this voter, stolen voter data being shown on screen, he had got a call from his lawyer while he was, uh, like, doing the cyber symposium, and his lawyer told him to hang up the phone, get off the video, and leave the thing immediately.

That data was stolen, and it was stolen by, uh, Tina Peters, who helped.

I mean, sometimes in defense you've got to get creative a- and there might be measures you take that have more of a practical import than a legal import, and this might be one of them.

Uh, because, you know, you look at the Tina Peters case.

She was the, uh, clerk in Colorado convicted of, of, uh, giving access to voting systems and, and she, uh, requested a pardon from Trump even though it was a state conviction.

Well, uh, lo and behold, in that case, Trump was being very vocal about wanting, uh, justice for Tina Peters, whom she, whom he believes is innocent.

And ultimately, the Colorado governor felt that pressure.

Trump directed it specifically at him.
