which in retrospect turns out to be a massive mistake because if Penn State had actually talked to that kid, they would have found out absolutely positively nothing happened and they would have 100% verifiable proof or as close to proof of that as you could possibly get.

And so what ends up happening here is not at all consistent with February 9th, but the reason why Jerry, when first asked about this, has no memory of it is that this episode, this minor episode, didn't happen on February 9th.

And Mike was not specific about when it happened.

So that when Joe passed it up the food chain, it was presumed to have just occurred.

And so when Tim Curley, the athletic director, asks Jerry about it, He probably couches it in that way.

Hey, we just had someone tell us that you were recently in the Lash building with a kid.

The whole thing got exposed.

The administration got blown up, including jail sentences for Tim Curley and Gary Schultz.

There is no more debate about who knew what about Sandusky.

They all knew.

That he witnessed Sandusky sexually assaulting a boy in campus shower.

And all he did was go tell Tim Curley, who was the vice president, but nothing else about what Sandusky did.

He never

called the police.

He didn't

do anything.

Tim Curley, former athletic director, that's who he went to directly and told him guilty of misdemeanor charge of endangering the welfare of a child.

He admitted he should have done more to alert authorities and was sentenced to serve three months in jail.
