Well, a absolute game changer for home use, Time Crisis.

But I also really do enjoy a beat-em-up.

Like Simpsons beat-em-up.

It's easy.

I used to be a big Time Crisis fan when PlayStation 2 first came out.

They had the guns.

You actually had guns you plugged into the thing.

You've really just activated a memory for me.

we haven't even gotten to those yet, but I was just reminded of Time Crisis.

That game's really fun.

If anybody ever has a chance to play Time Crisis in a barcader, or if you're of legal drinking age, or in just a regular old arcade, you should try Time Crisis at least once.

Which was, like, light gun stuff.

But this, this is, I think, PS1 took off with it with initially I think Time Crisis come out, which was an arcade port onto home console, and Point Blank, same.

Same company, same people.

Um, same periphery.

And that was what it is.

But it's all very stylized, all very bombastic, all loud kinda music and characters.

Um, but I loved it 'cause it, this was on the back of Time Crisis that I had at home when I had the whole light gun with the, the chamber that flicked back when you fired it.

yeah there's something about it you're so right time crisis is exactly the same like there's something very panto about it and like it's almost deliberately bad um it's like what it's like if if the room was like yeah You're tearing me apart, Lisa.

It's just like, I remember one guy being like, why would anybody do this? You need to find that clip because it's like, it's the start of the first act in House of the Dead, but like the zombies are coming for everyone and ripping people's faces off.

And this guy just, you know, shoots one dead and goes, why would anybody do this? Great line.

It's not quite the same.

There's not the visceral, haptic feeling.

And there's nothing quite like, and this is true of Time Crisis as well with the pedals, right? Nothing quite feels the same.

Because I actually do own House of the Dead on PS3 as I got older.
