So we went to Nancy Pelosi's office.

We went to Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Tim Moore, and some other ones.

And we basically just made a mockery of them.

Like, Hey, what are you doing? Look at this trade.

Yeah.

Now, the Republicans will, you know, the conservative side of the base will tell you that they'll tell you a much different story, the Phil Burgers and the Tim Moores, right? Part of the reason I had such a good relationship with them when they took power was that even in 02, 03, 04, 05, I interviewed Phil Burger and Tim Moore for my stories when they were in the back row.

And so they remembered that we, you know, took into account their opinion on that.

But they would have a much different story probably than Richard Stevens would, who was more of a business mind, moderate Republican.

Amazing.

We had Congressman Tim Moore from North Carolina on the other day talking about his bill that would make it possible for victims to go after the judges for gross negligence.

And we questioned him pretty hard on what the circumstances would be and gave him some different hypothetical scenarios on if his law would apply.

But it's the gross negligence, right? So it's the judges that let these people out after 50 crimes.

So this past year, we met with...

Tim Moore, one of our local congressmen, we love him.

And he was just brand new in office.

And we sat down with him.

They're coming in here in hazmat suits and they're pumping it into Luke.

I'm like, does he need a hazmat suit too? Like we're putting this into his body.

Like, um, and so after speaking with, um, his, uh, Tim Moore's team, he actually had never heard about the bill.

He was brand new, co-signed immediately.

The three-day pause gives both sides more time for negotiations on trade issues.

Let's bring in North Carolina Congressman Tim Moore.

Congressman, first I want to give you a chance to comment on the elections yesterday in our discussion at the beginning of the show.

Yeah, I mean, these DSA candidates are really showing what they believe and who they are And the fact that the Democratic Party has gone so far to the left and just been utterly hijacked by socialists is amazing.

So maybe if we can't get them to do the right thing, to just do the right thing, maybe if they know they're actually going to be held financially accountable through a private right of action, that's one way to get there.

But I see this as one tool in the toolbox to try to enforce just common sense when it comes to criminal penalties and keeping dangerous criminals locked behind bars and not out on the streets where they can reoffend time and time again.
