That grew.

You have been a part of Chad Reed, Ken Rockson, James Stewart, Ryan Villopoto.

Probably the great Tim Ferry, a lot of people that I'm probably forgetting, but you've done a ton in the motocross industry.

You started off in mountain biking, and now you are back there with Fox Suspension, which is just simply maybe the premier brand in mountain biking.

How do you like it? How's it being back in mountain biking? You've been there for a few years now.

it's been uh an evolution let's say because the bike is so much heavier right the pitch controls where it's first started to show up and the only way to control an air spring before it gets down to the heavier parts of the spring is damping and that's really what helped drive the evolution of the tuning work that we're doing and so without it because the vehicle is so much heavier 40, 50 pounds we're talking about now for a bicycle, which sounds insane, right? Slowing that thing down, if you didn't have damping in, you would end up in the stiffer part of the spring curve and it would just be really harsh in your hands.

So that change in weight really opened the door to needing more control, very similar to the two-stroke, four-stroke thing I experienced at Yamaha.

And it was Jimmy Button and Tim Ferry, Red Dog, that worked through that, right? Yeah.

And so we do see some of those heavier springing things come in that you need to support the weight more.

Arthur C. Brooks is the man.

And he's on Craig Groeschel's podcast and also I think Tim Ferry's show as well.

He goes into a bit too much detail, in my opinion, about his diet.

But that's okay.

Yeah.

You know what I mean? You're a little special case.

They're bringing two bikes.

They're bringing more people than they used to back in the day." On our review pod, our guy Mathis, who actually was a Team USA mechanic with Tim Ferry back in '03, said, "Yeah, we brought like" hardly anything.

Now everybody's bringing two works bikes and all these parts and it was like him and Timmy were like the entire Yamaha team.

Now it's like we got crew chiefs and everybody, heck, nowadays everybody's married and has kids so they got more infrastructure and more plane tickets to buy and the Luongo family is saying, "Well, that's not our fault that they cost more money on their end." But sports evolve, man.

No, even 95, 96, I don't remember none.

It was just all about who was coming up and, You know, say Ben Riddle or Davey Yuzik or all these guys from back then and today, Bobby Bonds and Timmy Ferry.

And, you know, then it started getting Cam Windham and you started seeing names, you know, like, oh, that dude's bad.

Yeah, you could tell.

I don't got a problem with it.

Like, look, 23 years ago, if Tim Ferry had that attitude, we never would have got that moto win.

This is

not for the weed or whatever.

This is a championship on the line that Tim Ferry was not in.

Like I'm just saying the situationally, I got zero problems at the front.

They're battling for like second.

I'll go 2003, Tim Ferry, moto one winner, wrenched by yours truly, passing Kevin Windham, taking the win.

They looked at your season point totals, and Andrew Short was number one for a few years.

Timmy Ferry was number two or three when I worked for him.

They've just never done it.

They've never given an overall award for the combined points.
