They looked as if they, he also asked them to blitz a little bit more without doing too much.

What did you think of that unit, man, in comparison, and not to diss Tim Banks or anything like that, but in comparison to last year, I just felt like it was more buttoned up.

Well, I mean, I think that your takeaway there is they did not appear to be – nobody was turning after a play and look at the other one shrugging his shoulders like, no, I thought you had it.

uh, on its defensive, uh, not just on, uh, on the defensive front, but overall, really, I think they're, they're much improved on defense.

So you mentioned Jim Knowles and obviously there's a lot of excitement about him, but do you think that, cause I look at Tim banks and obviously it was rough last year.

I mean, I think it was probably time, but he also had some really good defenses too.

I mean, how much of an upgrade do you think that is from banks to Knowles?

Mm-hmm.

You know? And the challenge to that would be, well, if you didn't bust coverages and make, just made some tackles, you probably wouldn't need to feel like you needed one more stop because you probably are just a whole lot better on defense and you probably never fire Tim Banks.

Now obviously he's putting the guys on the field, teaching them how to tackle and teaching them what coverages to be in and where to be and they weren't doing that.

Mm-hmm.

And I I'd like to see this Dolph, this defense really tee off.

But, but again, that's kind of even a Tim Banks defense would tee off on Furman.

You know, for sure.

We'll, we'll learn more about the defense next week because Georgia tech.

So, again, just what they look, you know, how they play, what kind of edge they play with on defense.

Because, you know, for all the criticism of Tim Banks, at 24, man, they were hell on wheels potentially with that.

They got to the playoff 24 because of their defense, really in spite of what they were and weren't on offense.

Last year, the bottom fell out on defense.
