Tilehurst

A property reminiscent of the house made famous by the 1960s TV series Thunderbirds is being offered for auction this month.

It's on Long Lane in Tilehurst, Berkshire and it features an extensive network of tunnels and underground rooms.

While it does not have the Space Age monorail system featured in the TV show, there is a hand-built underground railway.

So this guy's been building this for about 20 or 30 years and he's just passed away.

20 years of age?

In Tilehurst, near Reading.

Yeah.

Um, I think it's get, it's not, it's not as in you get a day off or whatever, but I think it's getting that way because I, I've, so the route I go, if people know West Reading or whatever.

So I, I drive from Tilehurst through Pangborn through Gordon Streetly, um, through Blueberry, blah, blah, blah, all the way to Didcot where I work at the moment.

And that there's so many houses that are already decorated with Halloween stuff, um, Like that's, it's getting more and more every single year.

So I feel like, particularly because it's on a Saturday this year as well.
