TIE fighter

It opens up its belly.

A bunch of fucking fighters come out, but they don't look like TIE fighters.

No, they're still the old Republic fighters.

Well, because it's got the dishes on the side, but it's got a pointy nose.

It looks weird.

Yeah.

I like the weird ball with big ears design of the TIE Fighters.

I don't know.

I guess they're going to do for like your tabletop that's an old school focus on Star the Star Wars lineup from 50 years ago.

Likely to be a poster, maybe some minifigs that are classic as well as some of the classic TIE Fighter and the Millennium Falcon as a display section, which could be cool.

I don't know how big it's going to be.

I think it's like $40, so that's not super big, but that's just one of the rumors for it.

There's two really rare ones, C-3PO and the Landspeeder, so I've got a loose C-3PO.

But actually tracking down the other ones, even the more common ones, it's R2-D2, X-Wing, and the TIE Fighter.

Getting loose ones of those is really hard, and I notice there have been a couple on U.S. eBay.

for a while.

But actually looking through all the photos, it tended to be the grey and black ones I saw that people had pictures of most.

So I've seen a full run of black.

and joseph islas had a full run of gray other than his tie fighter pilot which was pink now the figures themselves they are fantastic leia looks like an old crazy cat lady now old is a theme actually come to that bosk looks a bit like a duck he's definitely got duck feet luke hoth is an old man warwick looks like a hobbit he's got this human face under a hood Basically, any human character, the faces are old.

So it works for Ben.

You can have one somewhere.

That's a lot of steps to go through in order to get TIE Fighter to work.

And SimCity 2000.

We put wedge in the middle of this and we focus very, very much on the star pilots.

And both me and David have like a long standing love of the like the X-Wing and TIE Fighter and X-Wing versus TIE Fighter flight simulator.

So it's like a great many of our conversations will eventually circle around to that anyway.

So we then thought, well, people seem to be buying Rise and Fall.

I wonder if if it's less that I'm seeing things other people aren't seeing or if I'm just what I'm asking questions might not necessarily kind of occur to people who haven't wasted their lives studying history for the last 20 years or so.

Because there'll be elements like, and this is kind of like a plot point in Rise and Fall, that, you know, you watch the Battle of Endor and the Rebel Alliance, you know, they lose a ton of people and they just about get away and, you know, the Empire chases them, but enough of the Rebel Alliance survives to get away.

but you also watch it and you go well two star destroyers just blew up in a asteroid field darth vader has murdered several of the people around him um tie fighters have blown up stormtroopers and attacks and that i think he'll so then like the historian part of my brain starts thinking well how does the Rebel Alliance react to this and how does the Empire react to this? The Rebel Alliance point of view is probably that was a close one.

We can't afford that many.
