That's meditation.

The word meditation, you know what the word meditation means in Tibetan? You know the word, what it means in Tibetan? The word meditation literally means to become familiar with.

To become familiar with.

So if you became familiar with all of your shortcomings, and you've sat around and thought about what you had to unlearn, your emotional reactions, your emotional addictions, your behaviors, and you were able to observe your thoughts and actions and make what was unconscious conscious, would you be meditating? Come on, you guys.

Um, so the German Navy was using this information we think that they gained in Tibet.

The Tibetans would tell them, "This is the route you need to take to get to this, um, inner earth city." And as Ishmael Perez says, well, that kinda makes sense because he was sort of under the impression that beyond the ice wall, there were these different areas.

It's the same creatures except these have been overcome and subdued by Buddha, and now they have roles in the afterlife where they guide the souls of the dead or something.

... it's the one there around the wheel, the Dharma wheel, for example, biting into the wheel or, yeah, the one with the many hands.

The blue one there, for example.

Uh, these are the Tibetan version, their style of the same creatures.

So that's our particular fad right now.

If you explore spirituality even a little, I think you start realizing that it's an ecology, that you can experience your own psyche, but you can also experience what the Tibetans called the bardos, the spirit realm.

That there's an ecology of psyche, if you like.

And it has a past, like everything.

It's not very well formed, like a dream which is vague.

And then from that is going to come like the Egyptians and you're going to get a very religious experience.

And then from that you're going to get like Tibetans where you've got Buddhas and Christians and saints.

And then finally...

The custom obtains at the present day among the Tibetans and various Mongolian tribes who make a curious syrup of these ingredients.

The use of lemon slices by the Russians, who learned to take tea from the Chinese caravansaris, point to the survival of the ancient method.

It needed the genius of the Tang Dynasty to emancipate tea from its crude state and lead to its final idealization.
