Three of Swords

So perhaps more of the emotional side of things or the illusionary side.

Then we move into the three of swords from October 3rd to 12th, and that's associated with Saturn.

Saturn is a little bit more challenging.

They're associated with the color black.

The Golden Dawn designers of this card call Jupiter and Libra the Lord of Rest from Strife because it depicts a much-needed period of rest and recuperation, a gift from the Great Benefic, and an otherwise troubled time of anxiety and turmoil.

Even so, the imagery of Libra's major arcana counterpart, the Justice card, is still in play.

Justice is assigned to the entire month of Libra, and the three of swords above the young man look like a pair of scales in the process of balancing.

You know? Um, disappointment and betrayal is something that comes up a lot with Venus retrograde.

Um, I think with, like, Venus squaring Pluto and, like, some of the other squares to Pluto, it's almost about you finally making some hard decisions about what you need to step away from.

And it's difficult.

It can feel painful, but there's also something very cathartic about the Three of Swords, where you're pulling the swords out and you're just like, "This is difficult, but I gotta do what I gotta do." So whether that's finally closing a business, leaving a relationship, um, making a pivot and a change in your professional life, having to prioritize putting yourself first, you know, there's gonna be a three-part act to this.
