Three Lock Box

And suddenly, we were on TV, and this new, everybody was watching this new thing called MTV.

So, you know, we started playing shows, and we went on tour with, I think, Hagar, with his Three Lock Box tour in, uh, the beginning of '83.

Oh, we did some shows with Kiss the end of '82 and the, and January of '83.

But everywhere we went into towns, people knew who we were because they'd seen "Don't Tell Me You Love Me," the video.

He has a birthday today.

Suckers want money talks, but it can't touch my three lock box.

[upbeat music]

He also, uh, joined the band Van Halen after-

Sammy Hagar.

Love that song.

Three Lock Box is always a hit for me.

Y- you put on Sammy Hagar, one of his greatest hits album or one of his good ones, that Three Lock Box album, or, um, I Can't Drive 55, you d- you, you're gonna drive fast.

I feel like those are kind of in the same zone.

Now, one thing that's kind of interesting, though, is you do have Three Lock Box in between there.

Right.

Which did not do as well...

And Sammy and Neil got together to write songs.

This was, Sammy Agar had just come out with Three Lock Box.

He hadn't come out with his VOA album, which is the I Can't Drive 55.

And Neil Sean just got done with the Frontiers tour with Journey, which is like the Separate Ways Faithfully album.
