Three Ducal Ministers

Together they acted as the highest ministers guiding the young king.

These offices later evolved into part of the prestigious Three Excellencies of Chinese imperial administration.

Taishi, Grand Tutor, Taibao, Grand Protector, and Taiwei, Grand Commandant.

In later dynasties, these titles often became honorary, but in the early Zhou, they represented immense real power.
