This is the Quranic tadhakkur.

Another term that is used in the Quran is tafakkur.

Tafakkur.

And tafakkur occurs around 18 times in the Quran, and typically, the term tafakkur occurs in a context that is more than nazar.

It is to take the data and to analyze it, mentally absorb it, work on what you have seen, and then output something based upon the input.

Allah says in the Quran, Wa tilkal amthalu nadribuhal linnasi la'allahum yatafakkurun.

We're giving examples in the Quran, they can make tafakkur.

Allah says in the Quran, Awalam yatafakkaru fi anfusihim? Don't they see in their own bodies, tafakkur, in their own bodies? So what is tafakkur? Tafakkur is contemplative thought that you do after you hear or see or absorb.

Or he walks this earth, or he travels to look at things that Allah has created, and learn from them that travel is Ibadah.

So Tafakkur is definitely, as some of the Salaf, as I said, stated, is one of the greatest Ibadahs.

And it's an often neglected Ibadah that people actually don't think about, and it's mentioned in the Qur'an too.
