So in your plan B, it might be, hey, this might go to a Thoracotomy.

If it goes to a Thoracotomy, we know it's just a leg, but would you be able to do a Thoracotomy and would you be able to clamp or put pressure on their order? Is that something in your skill set? Could we get someone else to help you if that's what we need?

And I think those questions are better addressed prior to patient arrival so that you're all on the same page.

But that's the same for everything in emergency medicine.
