thoracic outlet syndrome

Everything hurts.

So so basically the name of the condition that I developed is called thoracic outlet syndrome.

which is basically there's like multiple ways you can have it.

It can be like your nerves are impinged from your neck through your like clavicle area, shoulder blades, and down both of your arms.

And then...

What does that mean? When your connective tissue is looser, then your muscles have to work harder to maintain whatever posture you're in.

And so that kind of has to do with why my shoulders just knot up really easily and then flare up this thoracic outlet syndromes and the chronic pain.

And it's related to that.

All right, quick injury update here.

Pete Fairbanks has been dealing with a shoulder injury and he is now set to undergo surgery for thoracic outlet syndrome.

We've seen how this sort of a surgery, this sort of an injury can derail careers before.

So Raj, what are you doing with Pete Fairbanks? We've already seen his stock trending in the wrong direction.

I don't think people are going to be clamoring to trade for P3 ranks.

Yeah, so Taylor, Raj kind of echoed a lot of what we've been talking about with Fairbanks in recent weeks as we've continued to get updates on this injury.

Has the diagnosis of thoracic outlet syndrome and the fact that he's now undergoing surgery, does that change your opinion at all? Or are we still in that same boat where we're trying to kind of get rid of him for whatever we can within reason?

But try not to listen to the people or the person screaming fire in a crowded room.

Emily, can you treat ribs and left side thoracic at the same time? I've been diagnosed with TOS in addition to everything else with EDS, and they can't figure out the cause.

I wonder if instability may be the factor.

We can, yeah.

So it's not uncommon that we'll treat the thoracic spine or ribs when we're treating treating the upper cervical spine with an EPICL procedure.

In addition, realize that many times the TOS symptoms will go away once we stabilize the upper neck.

But if they don't, we can also treat the thoracic outlet as well.
