Thomas Weber

We think we know Adolf Hitler, the screaming, raging dictator, but historian Professor Thomas Weber says that's one of the biggest myths about him.

Professor Weber, what is the number one thing we get wrong about Adolf Hitler?

Great question.

this guy Weber, he really takes it too far, and you really shouldn't question that Hitler was brave.

And I said, well, in a way, you're missing what I'm saying, or this is not what I'm saying at all.

You will find nowhere in my book where it would say, I, Thomas Weber, I, Tom Weber, think that Hitler wasn't brave.

I say this nowhere in the book.

I'm describing what his task was, and more importantly, and this is now the important bit, how the men in the trenches thought about Hitler.
