I've, I've made it to that point where I can have vintage songs.

so I think that he walks out there, no matter what the stage is, and he treats it just like he would sitting in someone's backyard.

I think that's what makes him so...

Obviously, his songs are amazing, but he's just a likable human.

Great performer, incredible vocalist.

But watching his journey playing overseas, like in Australia and in the UK and the Netherlands and in Norway and all these different places, I think it's making a path for a lot of other artists to be like, oh, maybe we could... go do that too.

And for some reason, it sparks this crazy chord in me because I'm such a transparent human being like if you ask me about how my shows went I'm gonna give you every detail if you ask me about how golf was I'm gonna give you every detail if you ask me about anything I just love to talk about I don't know I just love to talk about stuff and Willa Gray I've noticed that I have to get her in the right environment for her to open up to me Um, so we have been, I bought her a little Garmin, like run watch.

Um, and I was like, let's just, why don't me and you start walking together or running together? And I hate to run so bad.

Like I absolutely hate it.

Um, and so this week we've done like five or six miles together, like just in the neighborhood.

And, you know, the first mile is crazy.

And I remember my dad, uh, is a songwriter, was a artist in the '90s, and he sent me a song that I loved, and I played it for her and she loved it, and we recorded it.

And that's, it was a song called It Goes Like This, and it was, it became my very first number one.

And then he sent me another song, and then that became a number one song.

And then the song that you, that you sang, that was my, that was my, the first song I ever wrote that became a number one song.

Yep

... and I feel like I have battled with the same thing my whole career.

Like, I've always been, like, I was telling my therapist this the other day, 'cause I had to draw out this timeline of my life.
