Thomas Harding

I think it all happens in the month of November, and I think they take three pitchers.

Did you see Thomas Harding reported that the most likely of the three, so we know Lorenzen's not coming back, so you got a true-false answer, basically.

Which pitcher do you think was most likely to be brought back to the Rockies that they signed last offseason?

Shigano?

No, he said it's Quintana.

Really? Like they think, Thomas Harding thinks that Quintana will be back.

Wow.

Which is like

It was Lady Jane Grey.

She wrote these scathing words about her former chaplain, Thomas Harding, who'd abandoned Protestantism and returned to Catholicism during Mary I's reign.

She believed that he had betrayed the true faith, that he was a heretic.

She was only about 16.

Yeah, and that's the big thing.

And going into that approach, and I think Troy Rank wrote about it and Thomas Harding might have written about it.

Where I think they're going into...

No, Paul is...

We said it a long time ago, he should be...

In fact, Thomas Harding told me the same thing.

Yeah.

He should be a relief pitcher.

where it just really feels like he signs the checks, he lets the baseball guys do the baseball stuff, he appears when he needs to, but mostly just kind of operates in the background.

Yeah, and that kind of goes with Rocky's communication just throughout the year, and Troy Rank and other, I'm sure you could talk to Thomas Harding, I bet Patrick Saunders, I think he's mentioned it too.

No, just across the board, the Rockies have just been so much better communicating throughout the year.

Josh Burns and Paul DePodesta, they've held conferences, media scrums multiple times throughout the year.
