But I appreciate you hanging on, because I wanna talk about this, uh, voter, uh, fraud issue and the people, the, again, actual arrests being made in cases of voter fraud.

Yeah, at some point that safety net just becomes a net, and you start just grabbing people in them.

And so for the first four years, I served under Senator Normance.

When I first came in, Senator, now Delegate Tom Garrett was my seatmate.

And when I first got elected, he invited me to help him to try to put down some things that were happening at the time.

And at the time that I came into the Senate in 2016, Senator Norma was trying to expel the press.

And

during the time Senator Norman apparently had some things going on personally and professionally and some conflicts of interest, which he was, were being called into question.

And so he was, He did not like the press snooping around on the floor of the Senate, and so he sent them into the gallery, and then Senator Tom Garrett and I worked very hard to get them back on the floor of the Senate where they remain to this day.

We think it's important as part of being transparent that we do, as much as some of the press we don't like, we do believe that they have a place in government reporting to the people what's going on.
