Thomas Davis Sr.

Okay.

Well, Thomas Davis tore his ACL three years in a row and then did not miss a down for five seasons.

Linebacker?

Yes.

I'm so honored to get to like get in your head a little bit.

You like a, you know, Thomas Davis or Levante David or Luke Keekly or Gronk or people who've been there and done it at the highest level.

And you, Thomas Davis just recently, Chris Carter, you all sort of don't care about, it's always like too early, right? is what I've noticed.

Like you just kind of said it too, like season's just starting, like for the Lions, like it's just starting.

Using all of your experience, take me, when does it actually start to matter and why? Like, is it different for different teams? Is there a week we have an extra game now to consider internationally? Like when can I start thinking as a fan, like, oh, this shit sticks, now this shit sticks.

We're so blessed to have moments with great defensive stars.

Thomas Davis.

Is the Bears' defense good? At no point do I know if they're a good defense.

They're good enough to win last night.

You've done that at the highest level.

You're good at being patient.

All the best are all the even like Thomas Davis is like, it's tour looks.

Okay, shut up.

The defense, what I want to focus on though.

And speaking of defense and NFL defensive legend, Thomas Davis on the program, not just to talk about the Panthers though.

They look pretty good contender.

Good.

Stats is somewhere like giddy right now, just at the prospect of that.

So, so much to get to.

We've got Thomas Davis hopefully signing in, Jim, at some point.

You will let me know, and we will get right to him.

You, if Justin Herbert go to the Hall of Fame, and Cam Newton ain't in the Hall of Fame, and Michael Vick ain't in the Hall of Fame, and Steve Smith Sr. ain't in the Hall of Fame, I'ma lose it.

If Justin Herbert go to the Hall of Fame, Thomas Davis should get to go to the Hall of Fame, but I think his career was better.

What are we talking about?

Oh, boy.

Yeah, yeah.

[laughs] Yeah, I was, like, like Thomas Davis may be of that era, but to your point, he was getting, like-

They were good

... elevated.

Luke Kuechly- Okay, so it's Tom Brady's ...

Thomas Davis ... everybody's defense.

Oh, stop.

You gotta be a defense to win a championship.
