You get, you know, the Second Doctor as the absolute, um, shit stirrer.

He just goes in and fucks things up until the point where-

do sometimes do I do mostly try and relate them to the era but I do sometimes yeah do specifically do so for example The Planet Killers which is coming up in a short while which is a third Doctor Dalek story I mostly did Roy Skelton and a bit of Michael Wisher although my Michael Wisher sounds more like Sir Alec Guinness and

And then it's, it's, I love, I love the dynamic and it's not intentional, but I love it.

It's a repeated dynamic with the brig and the third doctor where the brig is almost going, go on, ask me what the weird thing is.

What's going on? Because, well, that's the funny thing, doctor.

And then goes on to explain this.

There's an element of that.

It's like she has to raise her game to the third Doctor because he's so...

It's a John Pertwee Third Doctor story, which makes it not quite unique, but, but close to.

Now, Rob, we occasionally do get, uh, emails when we do something that is less available out there, but you have a solution for this one.

And just sitting down and listening to this and being utterly blown away that there was-

... a new story with the Third Doctor, at that point probably still, yeah, would've been my favorite Doctor still, which was kind of incredible.

A few things I bumped up against and sort of thought were a bit weird or didn't quite work, but it was just a story I devoured again, and again, and again.

But you're right, the, the feeling of, "Oh God, it's over," is all over these six episodes.

There are, uh, there's at least one moment in every episode where you're like, "This is, this, we're not gonna be with the Third Doctor and Jo in the next story.

This is, this is ending."

I do remember the first time I saw The War Machines, though, how, 'cause I saw it quite late, um, how surprised I was that how second and, and by extension Third Doctor, that story feels.
