Thierry Breton

This is season three of TMO.

We have a packed agenda for today because you guys at Media, we know what you did this summer.

Ivan, I want to get you started on the World Cup.

Okay.

Because this was massive.

I think...

For you guys, it's like you've discovered football in a way.

Yeah, I mean, the U.S. really did catch World Cup fever, I would say.

Teams explodes for better or worse.

But, uh, a little thing I paid attention to was the, um, uh, uh, Thierry Breton, who is the EU Internal Market Commissioner, reached out to Netska- uh, Netflix and YouTube and Amazon Prime and asked them to turn off all the 4K features.

Mm-hmm.

He was concerned about the amount of available bandwidth across Europe as everybody went home and used the internet differently.
