Last night, game we had right here on KLEB, Larose Cut Off Middle School Bulldogs took on the Raceland Cubs.

And it was all farmland, hunting and fishing, sugarcane fields.

And then when my grandfather met my grandmother, dad came along and they moved to the big city of Thibodaux, which was the biggest city on Bayou Lafourche at that time.

Not really a city, a town, the biggest town.

And then when Aunt Sally came along and his family started getting pretty big, they moved to New Orleans and he got a job as a welder in the shipyards right on the Mississippi River in the New Orleans region.

So next, next month, six years.

From Thibodaux, Louisiana, about 50 minutes to an hour here.

Yeah, my mom and dad live right here in Chag Bay.

I got a girlfriend.

We building a house in Thibodaux right now.

So we close on that house in a week or two, so I'll be over there in Thibodaux with Dylan.

At the market in Thibodaux, five miles away, it is worth nothing.

A worker who fell into debt at that store because of illness, a bad week, prices that exceeded wages, could be legally required to remain until the debt was cleared.

And the planters withheld up to 80% of wages until the end of harvest season.

We had Central Lafourche get a 51 to nothing win against Patterson.

Thibodaux defeats South Lafourche 41 to six.

Dutchtown gets a 35 to seven win against E.D. White.

Um, let's dive into the local scoreboard 'cause we just kinda glossed over it.

Um, let's talk about South Lafourche and Thibodaux.

The Tarpons fall to the Thibodaux Tigers.

Central Lafourche gets a 37 to 14 win against West Jefferson.

Thibodaux gets a 21 to 20 win against E.D. White in a game that both teams scored three touchdowns.

E.D. White didn't execute one of the extra point plays, had a fire drill.

They actually completed the pass on the fire drill, but Thibodaux rallied and made a tackle at about the one-yard line.

That was the difference there.

And then the game that Brian and I were at last night, South Lafourche gets a 26 to 18 win against H.L. Bourgeois.

Put South Lafourche and H.L. Bourgeois to the side for just a second, 'cause we'll break that game down, uh, at length in just a minute.

Between Central Lafourche and West Jefferson and Thibodaux and E.D. White, was there anything that stood out to you last night, my friend?
