Yeah, I mean, it was apparently, I mean, yeah.
K

So Belgian and Dutch media were saying, oh, it's a nice tribute to his dad.
K
46:17Kit NicholsonHOST
And then there was the last Belgian, well, no, not the last Belgian world champion, but there was one of Nyssenia's rivals also wore red shorts.
K
46:29Kit NicholsonHOST
But Thibaut Naist just said, no, I just fancied it actually.
K

It wasn't attributed to anyone really, but it was a surprise for my dad.

Nys, Van Toerenhout, Kuipers, Ron Haar in fourth place, Mason fifth, Bellens, sixth ahead of Arne Baars, Roman de Boer eighth, Thomas Mien ninth, and Jente Michels completes the top ten, coming back after illness.

Where to start, Ehsan? Because maybe the talking point here is the Balwaas Lions, Balwaas Verzekeringen Het Poetsbureau Lions, to speak that full name for the first and only time this season, because we've been talking a bit, okay, where is this team right now? Thibau Nys isn't there, Pim Rolnar hasn't really been showing up.
N
18:44NoahHOST
Annemarie Vorst is not really making any headlines.
N
18:48NoahHOST
So where are they right now? Well, they are here.
Cyclocross Power Rankings week 3 | Cyclocross Social Podcast #69
I

Van Toerenhout, the streak he's on at the moment has to be admired.
I
6:51IssamHOST
But nevertheless, the test for him will probably come at the Koppenberg when Thibaut Nys will arrive there as well.
I
6:57IssamHOST
But Van Toerenhout, for the moment, tier one on top of the mountain.
N
7:01NoahHOST
So Issam on top of the mountain, but with such performances, does it warrant the gold status at top of the mountain? Do we need to put gold status Michael van Toerenhout on top? Or does he need to win on the Koppenberg before you can go that far?
I
8:14IssamHOST
It just was way higher.
I
8:16IssamHOST
At least that's what I think.
I
8:17IssamHOST
I think that Thibaut Nys is not going to be on the level of Van der Poel when he comes at the Koppenberg.
I
8:22IssamHOST
That would be news.

Because who can beat him at this point? We need to call in the big guns for next week.
N
9:57NoahHOST
Hey, Thibaut Nys, Koppenberg, we know what you did there last year with your white pants.
N
10:03NoahHOST
It's time to... bring that type of performance back because you'll need it to beat Michael van Toeren out.
N
10:09NoahHOST
It doesn't really matter where you take van Toeren out.
HG Cross Heerde | Cyclocross Social Podcast #67
I

And it was... very weird scenario you see that happening and definitely for a couple of riders that had huge influence and implications on the race because just we have seen it that riders in normal circumstances when they miss the start it can really hamper your race and now in this situation it was just a bit more weird I guess because maybe you were going to have a good start but that was just not going to be the case with how lightning fast we got that go, go, go screen for the riders.
I
1:57IssamHOST
So I think it was within the regulations, at least on the Belgian broadcast they were also discussing it and Sanne Kant and Thibaut Nys gave their say and said that it is within the right to start within the 30 seconds sign.
I
2:09IssamHOST
But you can definitely have your question marks about how that went and Maybe, I don't know, but maybe you should in the future look at what you could do to make sure that these type of things are prevented.
I
2:23IssamHOST
Because I think that with 30 seconds, the margin of having the right to start is maybe just a bit too big.
