I'm your host, Nick Law, and today I am joined by a special guest, Ian Reynolds of Thesis Capital.

Ian is someone who has been a searcher, an operator, and an investor, and he's now built what is really a substantial platform in the ETA space, and he's also one of the top independent sponsors on Axial.

Ian first started

ETA journey back in 2017 when he acquired a software services company, ZipTech, through the self-funded model.

He operated it alongside the founder for several years and then ultimately exited the company in 2022.

He's since built Thesis into a much broader firm with over eight portfolio companies over the last eight years and more than $100 million of transactions closed.

The firm has what I would consider an institutional caliber team, entrepreneur in residence programs, dedicated sourcing infrastructure, and multiple portfolio company boards, a level of depth that you don't see very often in the ETA space.
