Have you guys heard the new Theory of a Dead Man song? What's going on? And, you know, I think I listened to half of it and turned it off, but I just wanted to talk about it because what happened to this band? Remember when Chad Kruger of Nickelback found them back in the early 2000s? Fuck Nickelback and fuck all their fans.

They released Invisible Man.

It threw down.

Actually, I queued it up.

I got in my car and all of a sudden it starts playing in my car and I'm like, what is going on right now? Like, did the radio get switched? Like, what's happening? I looked down.

I'm like, there's no way this is Theory of a Dead Man.

To be fair, they've always had that like Southern rock, like kind of feel to them here and there.

And even this one's like a weak guarantee.

Um, and that's Theory of a Deadman.

And I think COVID did play a part in that too, because, you know, we were shut away from all these interactions and, you know, just thinking back to all of the events, concerts, any kind of social gathering that was canceled.

I've just got ibuprofen, and, uh, it works pretty good.

They put on a killer show a couple weeks ago at the Mountain America Center, and, uh, we got some good shows coming up this weekend.

You know, we got the hockey match between the Idaho Steelheads and, I don't know, just some other team they're gonna crush, right? It's Friday night.

A lot of great bands from Godsmack to Simple Plan to Lynyrd Skynyrd, Tesla.

Theory of a Dead Man, Daughtry, the list goes on and on.

Jackal, that was amazing.

Got to hang out with a lot of great rock stars and have a great time.

We saw Daughtry.

We saw Godsmack, Bombshell Molly, Seven Dust, Blue Tattoo, Theory of a Dead Man, Candlebox, Simple Plan.

And the list just kept going.

And then, of course, on Sunday night, it was Cowboy Mouth, Rocket Mafia, Royal Bliss, Tesla, Leonard Skinnered, It was a great show.

yeah but I mean like songs like Photograph were huge too I can't remember but they had so many hits like it's like yeah it's a lot of fun going to their concerts everybody's just singing along so loud absolutely but i have a question about

like uh nickelback adjacent bands okay okay so when i would watch much music or listen to my local alt rock station which happened to be the aforementioned 102.1 the edge i would hear songs by default and theory of a dead man and they were like what i would call nickelback-esque and then you would learn oh they're like from the 604 stable So can you just give me an idea of when Faber Drive is coming up? And you're in the 604 stable? Oh, yeah.

Yeah, yeah.

So where are we in the timelines? I guess they came before you, but where's Default and Theory of a Dead Man and these other Nickelback-esque rock bands

in this century? Yeah, yeah.

No, we were all in the same area, I would say.

And I think maybe the thing that kind of stood out a little bit for us is that my voice doesn't sound... uh similar i come from the pop punk background right like like i was a huge fan of simple plan i was a huge fan like green day offspring uh blink 182 um so my voice was a little bit different but it was still part of the 604 circle it was like theory of a dead man default those guys are all great guys they're still buddies of ours so
