When you get into more, um, national, uh, presidency, uh, you know, governor races in certain states, some of these, some of these other platforms are, are very impactful.

But, uh, you know, hypothetically, a congressional candidate jumps on a, a podcast with Theo Von, for example.

You know, you might have-

... 400 people in your district that listens to Theo Von.

Um, i- it's not gonna have the same impact as it would nationally.

So I, I, I think a lot of these congressional folks are, are doing a little too much, uh, and, and some of their social strategy ends up actually getting them in trouble.

He's a little bit boring.

You know, Trump famously did some of the, you know, I don't know, Theo Von and, and, and the, uh, heavyset guy with the glasses.

I don't remember his name.

There, there's, like, a bunch of ways to sort of figure out how to enter that new lane and new audience.

But I do think, you know, the more I think about this, I do think basically the idea of recapturing what brought Trump this large share of media attention in 2024, which was, like, podcast bros.

It was Theo Von.

It was, you know, going on Joe Rogan.

Um, I only saw Bishop Barron announcing that it was about to come out and, um, y- you know, I didn't take issue with that at first, but there's a clip where, and I, I admit this could be totally out of context, and maybe I'm totally misinterpreting it, but Theo Von says to Bishop Barron in this clip that the church, uh, like had no balls for a while.

Mm-hmm.

That is, that is what he said.

Rumspringa, they won't.

During Rumspringa, Theo Von had a Amish.

Well, how could you have known back then? He had never been arrested.

Remember when Who was it? Was it, was it Tim Dillon who said to Joe that, or was it Theo Von? Somebody said to him that, uh, Peter Thiel's company, Palantir, is directly involved with artificial intelligence weapons that are used in Gaza to murder innocent men, women, and children.

And Rogan was like, "Well, that, no, that's not true.

That can't be true.

Or, or you're Theo Von and you forget the punchlines or the setups.

Oh, that's right.

That was rough.

... 'cause Theo, I, I, I don't, I really didn't know how he got to where he got.

I just know that, well, he's really just very down to earth, and he pulls off these interviews.

I'm like, "How could Theo Von interview, you know, this person?" It always seems to, to work out, and there's a, a lot of good humor in there.

So anyway, it's too bad about the special, but I hope we get a good crowd out for you.
