Themed Entertainment Association

You know, I'm, I'm so story-driven.

I think of times when I have been at Themed Entertainment Association mixers.

I'm on the board, so I attend a lot of things.

Um, and someone will say- Someone has told me, and we've talked about this, that people from some of the bigger parks don't like to come sometimes because it's a possibility someone only wants to talk to them about a job.

Dollywood sprawls over 165 wooded acres in the town of Pigeon Forge, population 6,600, and boasts roller coasters, music stages, a pair of World War II-era steam trains, and a dedicated Dollywood museum.

In 2024, the most recent year available, it drew 3.1 million visitors, according to the Themed Entertainment Association, making it the 18th most visited U.S. theme park on a list dominated by Disney attractions.

Among seasonal theme parks, and Dollywood is open from mid-March through early January, it ranks among the top three and is the biggest ticketed tourist venue in Tennessee.

Dollywood's president announced the park's plans to honor the singer posthumously, including new features like a cascading waterfall with a guitar sculpture next to the park's chapel.
