Theatre of the Absurd

I don't have it done in years, but I did mostly theater and, and things like that.

So it fascinated me that I never, even though I did things like Theater of Absurd, never came across, which is closely related to Theater of Cruelty.

I was fascinated by it all.

He's fantastic.

go with the flow, that sort of thing, you know? But it's interesting how you put that.

You speak, yeah, you do have a, what you call a view, you call it theater of the absurd?

Yeah, when groups get locked in sort of a, you know, a vicious cycle, right? So I'm a couples counselor.

I mean, predominantly.

And couples will come in and they're, you know, they've been fighting at each other's throats, so to speak, and they can't figure out how to get out of it.

And they continue to do the same thing over and over again.

And it's just the theater of the absurd, right? It's someone's to blame, the other, I'm good, you're bad, and who's to blame.

And it's repetitive and over and over again.

Here's Kara S- Swisher saying, comparing AI to nuclear weapons.

Okay, this is like becoming Theater of the Absurd.

Now we're comparing AI to [laughs] nuclear weapons.

Imagine, she says, "Oppenheimer selling his bomb to regular companies." I just can't believe where we're going with this.

And we put it up at the NCPA.

And it was an evening of one-act plays written by a very well-known playwright called Slavomir Mrozek, Theatre of the Absurd, very well-known at that time, where we actually, actually learnt by doing, yeah? So not just in a group in terms of acting in a play or directing a play, but really mounting a production.

So all that was already there.

And...

There is...

I, I agree with acceptance and diversity, um, to a certain extent, but there's a, there's a line over which it becomes Theatre of the Absurd, and that is without a doubt, uh, what that is right there.

That is in fact theater, um, Theatre of the Absurd.
