The Yellow Christ

This one's called The Ants and the Grasshoppers.

So there was also a painting at this exhibition his friends put together for him, and it was called, it was done in Brittany, one painting he had done in Brittany, it was called The Yellow Christ.

And the critics complained bitterly about that painting too.

They said, the man's an amateur or colorblind, why else would Christ be yellow? So I think the critics, you know, at that point in time, I think O'Gann's artistic greatness kind of flew totally over their heads and was really kind of beyond their comprehension.
