The Wolf's Call

This is episode 316.

We're in week two of September, and we are talking about Le Chant de Loup, or in English, The Wolf's Call from 2019.

Thank you for joining me on this mission, Nathan.

You're welcome.

The French are cuckoo bananas, as you might say.

Uh, and that is where this movie is from the French, which is why I introduced it as such at the beginning.

Um, so the wolf's call.

is from 2019 written and directed by Anton no Antonin Beaudry interesting that this is also a writer director and the last one was as well and they don't seem to match in quality so some people have it some people don't yeah uh Where did you watch this? All over the place, mostly on my phone.

So,

I don't know if this is the order, but the wolf's call, which... looked up is French so we've got an American recent ish and then a French from 2019 so also more recent sub movie and then going back some years to 1968 submarine x1 And the draw for this one, other than being on Amazon Prime, is James Caan.

because Scott Conn was in enemy hands with William H. Macy.

So I thought, why not? This is a World War II movie.

that is not a combination of words i thought i would be hearing

yeah so and there's plenty of other movies to choose from so um there's documentaries there's uh some even older movies there's and what was the other

one you chose the wolf's call and what's this other one Submarine x1 okay, so we're doing the wolf's call next week Sure,

just cuz it's next on the list sure
