But anyway, I'm looking at some of the iconic ones in that series in particular.

The Wolfman, I think, is key here.

And how they often... will have us consider something that does scare us is our own capacity for sin.

So how far are we willing to go to indulge that dark side? And it seems like that seems obvious, right? When you think of the Wolfman.

And there's just a great scene in the classic Wolfman where after transforming and going out and killing, he crawls back through the window of his mansion into his bed and transforms back.

And then the camera drags down his bed and catches the muddy paw prints on his sheets.

and then on his rug, and then to his window.

Like, we've had two collections that came out of 4K, but it was always like the main titles for those characters.

Well, we're getting the Frankenstein, Wolf Man, um, 4K, then all the derivatives, right? You know, Frankenstein versus Wolf Man ironically is on both of those releases, [laughs] both the Frankenstein and the Wolf Man one.

So if you own one, you got them both.

Son of Frankenstein, Ghost of Frankenstein, Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man, House of Frankenstein, I always liked that one a lot, House of Dracula-

And not only that one, but also The Wolf Man Complete Legacy Collection's-

Uh, anyway, uh, Psycho, as we know, became turned into one of the great classic horror movies of American cinema.

You know, if you look at horror movies before then, there are all these Eastern European monsters, Frankenstein and Dracula and The Wolf Man, you know, or else they were aliens from outer space.

You know, with Psycho, Psycho establishes and, you know, Ed Gein establishes, you know, this quintessentially American figure of horror, the ordinary middle American guy who turns out to be this monster in disguise.

And then of course, Gein becomes the basis for Tobe Hooper's Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and later on, for Thomas Harris's character Buffalo Bill in Silence of the Lambs.

I love that you mention her relatability because when we talk about the universal monsters, by and large, one of the things that people connect to is they are tragic and relatable.
