The Wizard

There are like, let's call them mistake moments that you can hear all over this, like sort of missed accents on the drums or.

There's a moment toward the end of The Wizard where if you're listening really loud, you can hear a place where I think a bass note should go underneath everything, but there isn't one.

There's a lot of just sort of like pub rock moments all over that.

But the playing is solid and consistent enough that it never feels anything less than like, oh man, these dudes can rip.

Yeah.

You're listening to 107.4 The Fish.

It's your dog, the J-Man here with The Wizard from Black Sabbath.

The Wizard, coincidentally, also what I call my drug dealer.

[crowd cheering] The old Fillmore East, man.

I remember getting shit-faced every night, man, with you groupies, huh? [crowd cheering] Play my number called The Wizard.

[crowd cheering] Yeah.

Whatever, man.

[rock music] Misty morning, clouds in the sky.

Without warning, the wizard walked by.

Casting his shadow, weaving his spell.

Funny clothes, twinkling bell.
