The Winds of Winter

And by the way, it is not like a lot of, like, um, [smacks lips] like at the end of A Dance with Dragons.

Uh, if you buy the trade paperback now, it's like, "Here's a chapter of Winds of Winter." But it's just the beginning chapter.

It's not that type of thing.

It's shots through the entire season, 'cause they've already shot it, and they've already seemingly mixed it, right? And have their he- and, and, and added in all of the visuals and everything and have it ready to go.

Let's hear it.

Early on in our discussion, the material we referenced made a quick, almost offhand joke about fans wondering when they will finally get to read George R.R. Martin's long-delayed novel, The Winds of Winter.

Right, The Eternal Wait.

It was framed as a desperate plea from the fandom.

Today, I'll read anything Brandon Sanderson writes.

And like a lot of people, I'm still waiting for George R.R. Martin to finish Winds of Winter.

Please, please finish it.

My love of reading went so far that it became a fundamental part of my parenting.

I'm talking about even in these books.

Warging of Jon Snow, which maybe that is Winds of Winter.

Thinking about how warging works, but also influencing, or not influencing, but giving us clues of what wrote brands going down by the Hodor moment, of course.

And then you have the coin thing.

Which is what we think Jon's obviously going to do in Winter Winter with Ghost.

Mm-hmm.

so yeah i mean does that necessarily have to be like or maybe it could maybe you know remember there's like oral and the owl and yeah evil and it scratches and so there's a lot to it that you can see where man maybe that's what i would say that's one of the things i'm most excited for and in this in this read is to see like because at some point before you get to the end then it's all just mostly dance of dragons but you can see where he's like oh i need to keep this out keep this out because the same thing is going to happen in winds of winter as we already know a lot of these chapters were planned for a dance of dragons you know because they just this whole thing so really it's like eventually you could actually read these three books maybe as one like that's how big i think he was really thinking yeah

They've totally lost, and he cowards out, and he jumps off the prow of the ship, and Euron's just laughing like a freaking lunatic.

And then at the end, you also get the shot of the bodies on the prow, which is a callback to The Forsaken from The Winds of Winter, which was awesome to see.

Very much enjoyed this scene.

10 out of 10 just for killing Obara and her sister.

And so I won't have to wait as long.

For Winds of Winter.

And since that point, I have graduated high school.

I've graduated college.
