The Wilder Blue

Then we've got Wilder Blue.

The Wilder Blue taking the stage at about 640, I want to say.

They're a great band out of Texas, most recently touring with Luke Combs.

Just one of my favorite bands.

But you are going to be blown away, I promise you.

Promise you.

You will walk away from Trade Up Fest a fan of the Wilder Blue.

Um, and then closing out the show, we've got Larry fleet.

It's just her and another guy, a couple of guitars and vocals.

And then the Wilder Blue, they were touring with Luke Combs when Luke played Lucas Oil two tours ago.

But Wilder Blue, people are going to – I swear they're going to discover their next favorite band.

The Wilder Blue remind me of the Eagles.

Like if you like the Eagles, if you like tight harmonies, insanely good musicians, and just really well-written songs – You're going to love the Wilder Blue.

I tell people it's like seeing the Wilder Blue at Trade Up Fest would be like seeing the Eagles, you know, 40 years ago.

So they're incredible.

Wow.

Totally.

But back to the Wilder Blue, I appreciate their commitment to creating consistently.

It's like they have a disciplined approach to music.

We had new full-length records from the likes of Billy Strings, Trey Penley, The Wilder Blue.

We had brand-new Dan Seals drop.

We've had...

It's been really fun to listen to it, and it sounds like Wilder Blue.

But there's a little bit of expansion there.

He is an amazing and accomplished songwriter and artist.

He's in a band called The Wilder Blue.

which just released their fifth album called Cinco, which we talk about on today's episode, as well as his long and storied career in the music business.

I think this is one of my favorite episodes that we've ever done, and it is such a great lesson in how to build a music career for the long term.

And for the most part, we started over from scratch with songs off of that first record.

And we threw in a couple of my old things and a couple of Paul's things.

But so... started the wilder blue um you know relatively late in life and i've been having a blast and i mean i really i do not regret the decision at all it's been fun and it is i do think this is something i can keep up for the long term

yeah well what are like an amazing story of like continually reinventing yourself and i think you're what you're hitting on the 10 better thing is like I mean, it worked, right? Like you didn't have to market it.
