The Wild Birds

I'm home, might be up in the middle of the night.

And over a while I arrived on this, but I first picked up The Wild Birds, which a book of short stories is a good place to begin, of course, for lots of reasons.

It's the brevity for one thing, but one of the first characters I met was Wheeler Catlett.

Given my last name being Wheeler, and I found out there were other wheelers in this too.

Of course, that meant I could, I could cherry pick my, my very favorite ones.

Some of them would have been pretty tough to write a song about.

I mean, even my song, the way we are, which is based on the, the story, the wild birds, that one, I focused on a particular quote.

It would have been hard.
