The Steve Harvey Show was said to entertain Romeo and Bullethead and all of that started in 1996.

The Wayans Brothers started in 1996.

And guess what else? Moesha started in 1996.

So we're talking about really These shows that came, but they were little bit by little bit filtering out black shows on television.

Because we had Jamie in 96 premiering.

We had Steve Harvey in 96 premiering.

The Wayans Brothers premiering.

Marlon and Sean, big up to Marlon.

And the show became the most important part of their early careers, and eventually they went on to create and star, uh, in projects like Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood.

They had White Chicks, Scary Movies, and other, and they also had The Wayans Brothers TV show on The WB as well.

I liked, um, The Wayans Brothers.

That was my show back in the day.

[chuckles] And the next group I'm gonna talk about is the Fly Girls.

And then, of course, he'd be on In Living Color.

And then with his brother, Marlon Wayans, he wrote and starred in the WB sitcom The Wayans Brothers and Don't Be a Menace, Scary Movie, Scary Movie 2, White Chicks and more.

So that's Sean Wayans.

Kimberly Scott was also on another series at the exact same time as MacGyver.

What were your, what was your shows growing up? What was your, like, when it, when it comes to comedy?

Um, The Parkers, The Wayans Bros.

Um, In Living Color.

He feels the same way about Tracy Morgan.

He said he feels like Martin was overrated, Martin and the Wayans brothers was overrated, and that, um, their sketch comedy wasn't very good.

Uh, and I kinda understand what he's saying, and what I'm realizing about the things that he's saying, not with Bernie Mac, he tripping with that.

But with the other people, as far as, like, the Martin show, 'cause I've said before that I thought Martin was a little bit overrated, is that he also doesn't like slapstick humor, and Martin had a lot of slapstick humor.

I agree.

One of the, probably one of the most underrated sitcoms.

I'm talking about Martin and The Wayans Brothers.

Um-

And I was like, yo, when am I going to get my ticket back home? And they was like, you're not going back home.

We're about to start doing this show called The Wayans Brothers and you're going to work on the show.

I'm like, what am I going to do? They said, we don't know.

We'll figure it out.

And I think I got to a place where not even think I got to a place where I hit the wall with that kind of stuff because I it wasn't creative.

It was going to put me in a place where I could work, but you know, the artist was still in me.

And so I left the Wayans Brothers as a production, assistant production coordinator.

And then I kind of went to just doing extra work and background work every day.

I don't know which one.

From 1990, we got, 1990, 1999, we got Martin, Fresh Prince, Living Single, Moesha, Steve Harvey, Sister, Sister, The Parenthood, Family Matters, South Central, Wayans Brothers, Jimmy Foxx Show, and Kenan and Kel.

Mm-hmm.
