The one thing that I like, when we did The Way You Make Me Feel, Larry Bridges, the editor, And I worked on, we took the choreography and some of the scenes to West Side Story music.

And it was astonishing how close we were able to manipulate Michael's stuff into West Side Story.

Now, the story now is that when...

For instance, he made history as being the first artist to get five consecutive number one singles with the same album on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.

He started off with I Just Can't Stop Loving You, then Bad, then The Way You Make Me Feel, then Man in the Mirror, and Dirty Diana.

He took creative control for this one.

He wrote nine of the album's 11 tracks.

Bad did 35 million.

It's still one of the biggest selling albums in music history regardless.

Tracks on it were Bad, The Way You Make Me Feel, Speed Demon, Liberian Girl, Just Good Friends, that was the duet with Stevie Wonder, and Another part of me, Man in the Mirror, I Just Can't Stop Loving You, his duet with Syeda Garrett, Dirty Diana, Smooth Criminal, and Leave Me Alone, which was on the CD and cassette releases, but it was not on the original vinyl albums.

As far as Grammy Awards, well, it didn't win as many as Thriller did.

I'll uh I keep I keep bringing up Michael Jackson because I for a reason like the similarities between these two both when you when you when you look at the evolution of their discographies and kind of the you know I I we were having a conversation in here when the movie was out about when when the Michael movie came out and and there was this big Michael Jackson renaissance happening at the time that when bad dropped like bad is the album after thriller when bad dropped if you go back and you read the reviews from like billboard and rolling stone and all of these different stuff they're talking less about the music and more about the stories that surrounded michael for the last four years you know prior to bad coming out they're talking about his skin being lighter they're talking about his nose and lips being different they're talking about you know the oxygen chamber in the zoo and all of these different things that he built But they're not talking about that Man in the Mirror is one of the greatest records ever.

They're not talking about, you know, the pop hit that The Way You Make Me Feel was.

They're not talking about the fact that that album produced five number one singles.

That same thing has started to happen with Kanye.
