I do give him a lot of credit because he really kind of got the ball rolling.

People critique him now in ways I think are so unfair because he was like the first one to even put us on the map.

Aside from working on shows like Broad City, Younger, and New Girl, he's now written a new book of autobiographical essays that is entitled The Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Gay.
