The Unforgiven

I was glad to see To Live is to Die, but these doodles just really aren't for me.

So then, you know, whites go out, that kick drum with the ambient pad, and then you're hearing a little bit of the marching snare for Unforgiven.

So everyone's pretty excited to see Unforgiven.

I thought this performance of Unforgiven was incredible.

The solo was great.

They didn't play it too fast or too slow.

And James came up kind of over by us when they brought out that Unforgiven 2 acoustic guitar on a stand.

And unlike King Nothing, I'll take Unforgiven every time.

Representing Reload, which I liked more than I think a lot of fans, at least that I knew, liked.

A lot of people thought that was a little bit of a drop-off for them, and I agree it wasn't as strong as Load, and certainly not as strong as the Black Elm, but there's a lot of good songs on there, including The Unforgiven 2.

Leave aside me Under wicked sky, through black of day, dark of night, we share this pair of lives.

The door cracks open.

But I remember just being like, okay, a sequel song.

Interesting.

And I was prepared not to like it because I love The Unforgiven so much.

Like, wow, how could you improve on it? But this is a really good song and I get lost in it just like any good Metallica song.

Go ahead.

It is Blackened, Fuel, Leper Messiah, Devil's Dance, 72 Seasons, King Nothing, Welcome Home Sanitarium, The Outlaw Torn, Kirk and Rob Doodle, The Unforgiven, The Call of Cthulhu, Hardwired, Whiskey in the Jar, For Whom the Bell Tolls, One, and Enter Sandman.

Nope, there are no surprises on night two.

Did we miss one or did we did it last week where they did Fade to Black for the first time? Because they have done Fade to Black.

I don't know.

The vocals that I really like from James Hetfield were songs like Fade to Black and One, Inner Sandman, The Unforgiven.

Because there's a little bit more melody, a little bit more space, and a little bit more actual singing in his delivery.

But...

No, because

they'd do the Unforgiven or something that would have...

Here's a Wolf and Man, and you're going to get that for a long, long time.

at least Unforgiven ain't telling you to cry like a bitch.

That's a factual statement.

And people are like, "Oh, you think that's heavy?" I'm like, "Yeah." Oh, no, I'm not talking about, like, The Unforgiven or Nothing Else Matters, but like, you know, Through the Never, heavy track.

God That Failed, heavy track.

Like, sad but true, kicks my ass every single time.
