The Understudy

And I'm Adam.

This week we'll be discussing the 24th episode of Season 6, The Understudy.

It aired May 18th, 1995.

It was written by Marjorie Gross and Carol Leifer, and it was directed by Andy Ackerman.

And as the scene fades, he crosses his arms defiant, if only to himself and his poor woman who has decided to spend her time with him.

And, you know, I was going to try to ruin this thing right off the bat by saying that she was crying because she was just so enthralled by Bette Midler's performance, seeing as how, you know, she's the understudy for the play.

She must be studying up on her work.
