The Tremeloes

That was a tune called African Battle.

Before that one we heard from the Tremolos from 1969 with their tune Instant Whip.

Previous to that one, we heard from Gentlemen and Their Lady on Contempo from 1974 with a tune called Loose Booty.

Outlaw Gang before that on Rudy from 1974, a rare tune of theirs called Funky Fast Bump.

On the CBS record label, it's the Tremolos.

And My Little Lady.

I think about my baby, a perfect little lady.

What is B-side? Well, you see, it's the other side of the record, the one no one ever plays, you know that one?

Both sides of a hit for the Tremolos in 1968, this B-side was called Girl From Nowhere.

You've heard the B-side.

It didn't matter because they were just them with sort of longish hair and they kept their accents.

And it's one of the things when they did the Decca audition at the beginning of 62, one of the reasons they were turned down was because Brian Poole and the Tremolos lived locally.

Because nobody within London, where all the record companies were, where the media was based, nobody would think of leaving London to go and look for talent.

It had to come to them.

They already sing backing vocals on Decca sessions for other people.
