The Transformers: More than Meets the Eye

Yeah.

But as the cartoon rolls out, and I watched more than meets the eye little miniseries, and I was hooked because the GoBots cartoon came out around the same time.

It did not compare.

Transformers cartoon was a hundred times better.

IDW I think has the best Transformers lore ever put to print.

Just amazing, amazing years of building on it.

And two of the best comics they ever put out were The Last Stand of the Wreckers and More Than Meets the Eye.

Listeners, if you are a fan of Star Trek Voyager, hunt down more than meets the eye.

There's gotta be some irony there.

We said last week, I, I talked about this, uh, quote from, uh, More Than Meets the Eye.

I, I think it's part two, that dialogue between Starscream and Megatron.

Those aren't lines from Season 2.

I mean, maybe you could interpret that that's how he introduces himself to Spike and Sparkplug in More Than Meets the Eye.

But it is interesting that this whole controversy regarding the cover art, especially now in the wake of Peter Cullen's passing, like this was something we were already arguing about even before that, because like there was this this.

the DVD cover art looks like if not AI generated, it's certainly Photoshopped from a lot of different Hasbro images.
