They were more comfortable than 80% of restaurants you go to, probably.

Well, let me just say that after going to the Philadelphia show at the TLA and sitting in those tiny folding chairs that were plastic.

See, I didn't do that.

Then this was a huge upgrade.

Yeah.

Yeah.

When I talked about the TLA show in Philly, we were talking about how close the folding chairs were together and how tight they were.

And this was exactly the same, just outdoors.

And then I was in a kind of like a punk garage rock and roll band called the AKs in the 2000s.

And they're like, oh my God, I saw you at the TLA.

I was like, oh, that's crazy with Big D and the kids table.

They're like, yeah.

Afrobeat, because he was one of the original founding members of Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, and one of the original members of the group Antibolus.

I actually opened for Antibolus years ago at the TLA.

If you've ever seen them, you know, following the tradition of Fela Kuti, like, it's an incredible Afrobeat group.

I mean, their shows are just incredible.

This week we'll be recapping the Three Pianos Philly experience, including the solo show at the t- the old TLA, and Three Pianos show at the Mann Center in Philadelphia.

I decided that since it's the six-year anniversary of the podcast this week, I'd do something a little bit different.

So I invited two different guests to the show to talk about the two different shows in Philadelphia first.

So this episode will be focused on the Philadelphia experience, and then we'll have another episode next time on the Chicago experience.

This first conversation will be with Kristen, and we'll be talking about the show at the old TLA.
