I probably wouldn't have liked The Time Machine if I wasn't familiar with the book.

You're talking about the Guy Pearce movie.

The Guy Pearce movie from 2002.

And so I did not see Resi- And there were, there's all kinds of junk from the spring of 2002 that I definitely didn't see in theater.

I saw Scorpion King, I saw The Time Machine starring Guy Pearce.

I don't know if you guys ever heard of that.

I saw that in theaters, buddy.

Right off the bat, with the time travel aspect, I think that sci-fi aspect is very strong for me.

Prior to this movie coming out and catching it, I don't know that I had a whole lot more other experiences with time travel, except for probably the two biggest things you can think of, which would be Back to the Future and The Time Machine.

But, you know, the way it just kind of has this weirdness to how it talks about time travel and throughout the movie and that I've even like watched, you know, interview with Terry Gilliam talking about it and, you know, and read some things.

And just the idea that, well, I mean, and they even say it in the movie, but you can kind of be so lost in what else is going on throughout.

need to add The Time Machine back to my watch list.

I mean, I remember enjoying it in 2002.

It is 1960s The Time Machine.

Yes, uh, the 1960 film adaptation of the legendary H.G. Wells, uh, book.

Uh, this one is a lot of fun.

This is Rob Lamb.

Nope, Leonard, has decided to buy a time machine off of eBay.

He feels like he's buying this miniature time machine from the movie The Time Machine, and he has an $800 bid on it, and he wins the bid, and does not have the money to pay for it, so the other guys all decide, "Hey, we'll do a timeshare on this, $200 apiece.

Everybody gets a piece." How can no one have bid on this? Well, the time machine shows up downstairs in the lobby, and it is not miniature.

It is full size, that they can actually sit in it, and it takes up a ton of space.

So the next question is, how do we actually get this thing up to the apartment? So they have to take the disc off the back, and they get the disc up there, and then they are trying to bring this time machine up the stairs, and it's essentially blocking the staircase for Penny, who is trying to get to work, and she's already run- running late.

Oh my God

... and then go down the stairwell from that side, which she determines is the best course of action.

Um, once the time machine is in and they have tested it out and done their, uh, fun stuff with the time machine, Penny barges back in to their apartment, because in the amount of time it took her to get through the other building, which she had to use a fire escape and crawl through a neighbor's window, at which point they apparently tried to feed her eight courses of lamb and set her up with their son.

Wonder, wonder-

And of course, you know, it's things like The Time Machine, where you're sitting there watching, um-

Time Machine.

Yeah.

He is great in Time Machine.
